SEP 14 Upgrade compatibility

Good afternoon all,

Right now we are preparing to upgrade our SEP environement from 12.1.6 to SEP 14 MP1. I was wondering what clients are supported for checking into SEPM when upgraded to 14. 

I saw you can upgrade clients from 11.x to 14, so I was wondering if those were not upgraded right away would we have issues because we will be upgrading our SEPM servers first and then roll out clients once everything is stable.

So we just want to verify our machines that are on later clients will check in properly.
