Quarantine Console won't connect to servers

I need a solution

Hi,

I've got what should be a working quarantine server, and a separate quarantine console on a 32 bit Windows 7 VM.

When I type what should be the correct info on the console, the server does not connect. I get this message: "Cannot connect to server ----- Make sure the Quarantine Server is installed on the specified machine, and that the user information is correct"

What could the problem be? When i go to services in my server, it shows the Quarantine services as running. However, when I do netstat -ao, I don't see anything that would correspond to the Qserver. Am I just missing it? Supposedly its default port is 33, but that comes out as 8488 according to ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/pr.... Neither of these ports show up in my netstat.

Another possible problem could be the info I am typing in to the console. What username and password is it looking for? Admin credentials to the QServer machine? And when do I or don't I need a domain name? Lastly, for the name of the machine, does it want an IP or the machinen name?
