I need a solution
I'm experimenting with running SEP 12.1 MR6 on a CentOS 6.6 box which is headless (no graphical display, runlevel 3).
I've installed the program, and since I have a local X server running on my laptop I found a Symntec AV window popup after installation.
Is it necessary for SEP to have a local X server/GUI? In order words, if I reboot without a graphical display will SEP crash/hang? Is there a config option to disable any graphical output?
In the same vein, is there a commandline interface to show SEP status, version, etc.?
