I need a solution

Hi Everyone,

I need some help. We are in the process of rolling out Surface 3 tablets to our inventory team. However, we have hit a road block. On some (most) of the tablets, the 12.1.6 MP1 install package fails and rolls back. I have tried running the installer has a local admin, running the MSI file, turning off UAC. Nothing helps.

The install almost finishes, gets to the end with the mesasge - writing registry keys and values.

I've tried CleanWipe (12.1.6 version), reimaged the tablets. Does anyone know what registry keys are being accessed and under what context? The business needs these tablets in production. Any help would be appericated.

ScriptGen: ShowServiceProgress() script execution failed.
ScriptGen: ShowServiceProgress() reset script failure event.
ScriptGen: ShowServiceProgress() is returning an error (so close to the end!)
CustomAction ShowServiceProgress returned actual error code 1603 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)
Action ended 11:15:38: InstallFinalize. Return value 3.

I've tried CleanWipe, even reimaging the tablets. Does anyone know what registry keys are being accessed and under what context? The business needs these tablets in production. Any help would be appericated.
