Explicit GUP configuration

I am planning to set up explicit gup policy using multiple mapping criteria in my environment but have some questions. I understand that endpoint protection has the capability to determine the client subnetwork address when I enter any one of the client's IP address within that subnet. But for the following scenario iam confused how will sep client identify the subnet range when the same subnet has segmented using two different CIDR.. 10.81.23.0/23 and 10.81.23.0/22 both the starting range has 10.81.23.1..any help would be greatly appreciated..
