One Time Removable Device Access

Hi,

We run SPS Enterprise and have a Endpoint Protection Policy around removable devices that does not allow staff to write to them.

Sometimes this is overly restrictive, and the option of putting a request through the helpdesk so that a member of IT can perform the data transfer isn't practical.

In these scenarios is there a way of providing temporary access to the end user?

I used a piece of software called Devicewall many years ago that could allow access for a specified period of time by means of a verbal key exchange with the end user.

Can I accomplish something similar with SEPS?
