peer-to-peer authentication between 2 segments

Hi,

I am configuring peer-to-peer authentication on SEP 12.1 without any enforcer. Then it's not able to communicate between 2 different segments. Also it's worked fine in same segment. Is it SPEC or not ? If not, please let me know how to configure peer-to-peer authentication over 2 different segments.
