Just to make things a bit clear
The cluster validation tool runs a suite of tests to verify that your hardware and settings are compatible with failover clustering. The first thing to do when troubleshooting, and something you should do every time you create a cluster is to run the Validate tool. To run cluster validation:
so when this is running then suddenly the autorun,inf ADC rule trigger and its pops up that it is blocked please see the attachment for the screen shot. The Failover Cluster Manager snap-in (CluAdmin.msc)
I can't disable the ADC policy for that group , I need to create some sort of exception to exclude autorun.inf rule so when the cluster validation run it doesn't trigger that rule . Creating separate group for the two servers and In this particular group disabling the autorun.inf ADC rule set is not appropriate and a permement solution. added the exceptionlocation under "Do not apply to the following files and folders" section in the rule so it doesn't apply to that location but it didnt work either.
What should of exception do i have to creat to make the validation run wihout cauing the rule to trigger ? .Waiting for your replies. Kindly help me Thanks.
