Reduce the size of SmcData and VirusDeffs folders

Hello all

We have a client with a  old server running Microsoft SBS 2003 Server with SEPM 11.0.4

Based on my research I found that its safe to remove the temp files mentioned on the following KB

On this server the folders with the name tmp*.tmp are almost empty but there are other folders as per the attached screenshot (Refer screenshot-1)

Is it safe to remove these additional folders?

Also is it safe to remove the contents under C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\VirusDefs ? Please refer screenshot-2.
