I need a solution

Hi All,

I would like get the following clarified...

There are folders like sesmvirdef32 / 64 and sesmipsdef32 / 64 in common files\symantec shared\symc data.

1. May I know where are these used?

2. Are these pertaining to SEP clients are SEPM server?

3. Is there any correlation between these files and the dates shown in SEPM home tab and "show live update downloads" in admin tab?

Secondly,

There are two SEPMs that are in a loadbalancing configuration using a remote SQL cluster. One of the SEPMs is actually updated with latest definitions (I confirmed this by browsing the folders like symcdata and inetpub\content\monikers), while the other one is not updated to recent definitions (out dated by a week).

However, both these SEPMs show the same dates in their home tabs "Latest Manager Version" and on their admin tabs (Show live update downloads). Is this normal? I believe this information is fetched from a database table and shown up on SEPM home and admin tabs, Am I correct on this?

Why would both these SEPMs show latest dates, while one of them is actually outdated?

Regards,

Elango M.
