Is there a tool or script that can be ran with cleanwipe via SCCM that i can use to uninstall symantec from multiple clients that are malfunctioning so that I can later reinstall the clients?

Does any know if it is possible to convert an umnaged client (symantec 14 RU1) to managed client with SEPM at 14 MP2...
I know ideally manager should be updated first but i dont have control on the server. I'm at a remote location (IT support) and i have Win 10 laptop (Ver 1709) that needs min symantec version 14 RU1. As of now corporate manged symantec client is still at 14 MP2. It will be few weeks before corporate can send me managed symantec 14RU1 client. I was wondering if i can install standalone symantec 14RU1 on laptop and convert it managed client (with standard procedure export/import sylink.xml etc).. Will it messup anything on the sever ?

We use AD in our network and already connected to our SEPM 14.
I would like to ask assistance or advise regarding Internet and USB security using SEPM 14. We will use Users account imported from AD.
What would be the best choice or setup for this? Since I can't import the created security group from AD but im prepared using created security group from AD because it will be easier to manage or add the users.

Got a new set of workstations released on 2018 (Windows 10) and tried to install Symantec 12 on it (after running Windows update) but got the error : This app cant run on this PC. Symantec Endpoint Protection doesn't work on this version of Windows. An updated app may be available.
The solution:
Uninstall the Windows update KB4088776 ,
Then try installation again. After the install, you can reinstall the update again.
When i install SEP 14.0251 on Windows10 version 1709. Error below ( Console SEP update last version 29 Mar 2018)
My SEPM is Active Directory synched. I've enrolled my SEPM in the cloud. I just ran into an instance where a computer that is no longer in AD or in SEPM is still listed in the console. How often does SEPM and the cloud console sync (if at all) to ensure that the clients listed in the console accurately reflects the actual client count of the site?
We have recently began transitioning from SEP 12 to SEP 14. In order to keep our client list organized, we synced our active directory within SEP - specifically our "Domain Computers" OU. This worked perfectly, the entire stucture and all PCs within the OU synced over.
Unfortunately we have a lot of disbaled computers in AD. I am trying to find a way to have these disabeld computers not sync over. So, for example, if we have an OU of 10 computer in AD and 5 are disabled, only the 5 enabled computers would show up in SEP.
Can this be done?
Machine freezes intermittently and nothing work the last option is to restart system, event log shows error with details "Timeout-60000-milliseconds-waiting-transaction-response-sepmasterservice-service".
This is happening with 300 machines randomly.

i have server hp , it's ready installed sepm 12 , i want to upgrade version to sepm 14 but when read documention of version 14 it's not supported windows 2k3 where as all clients of that server windows xp sp3 and installed version sep 12
what the best practices for me ..

I'm getting a lot of systems after upgrading them to 14.0.1 MP1 an error that says "Component is Malfunctioning". I tried to pushing out Intelligent Updater files for 3/29/2018 and some of the clients go back to normal, but they end up going back to this state. There are far too many clients to touch by hand so what are my options to resolve this?

I am trying to block users to access the shares avaialable on the Server and vice varsa with the help of SEPM Firewall rule. I am able to achieve part of my requirment using the below mentioned firewall rule but users are still able to map a folder on their local machine and then gain access from Server.
Policy
Remote Server
Local Machine
File and Printer Sharing Ports
TCP:[Local=445,139]
UDP:[Local=137,138]
Able to access the shares on the Local Machine
Local Machine users are now not able to access the shares on Remote Server
Any help here appricaited.....

I know we can determine if the device is a USB storage by the DeviceID under USBStor\ tree. but currently our USB devices are recognized as USB attached SCSI in device manager on windows10, it shows up a SCSI device, i need to know how we can add UASP device to USB removable USB device. Does UASP device have a special Device ID or Class GUID.

Hey guys, we're running SEPM v14.0.1 RU1 MP1. Looks like the IPS signatures are not updating on over half of our clients for months now. I've seen solutions offered to fix this by waiting for Symantec to release a hotfix, upgrading to the most recent version, and also running two SQL queries to check and repair the database since this problem arose from the introduction of a new column into the table between versions. We're running with an embedded database so I can't run these SQL queries, and waiting on updates doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Does anyone else know of another method to fix this so the server displays the correct information?

We are upgrading Symantec in our network
We tried to install Symantec Enpoint protection 12.1.7369.6900 in server 2003 but we are not able to do.
We also ran Symdiag and submitted to Symantec. Symantec told us to install disconnecting from network. We tried to install after disconnecting from network but still we couldn't.
We changed the destination path of installation to some other drive because we didnt have enough space in C drive( This method is working in other servers)
But still only this server is showing problem.
Please suggest us on how to proceed
