When I installed symantec end point, the system will not boot windows. Previously an error message appears to be moving into Lagecy UEFI mode install and use it normally. But I did not go through the machine 1 Lagecy be. Once installed, it will not boot into Windows. I use win 10 pro.

We currently have two different SEP servers (12.1.6 MP3, 2008R2) in their own sites and with their own (SEP) domains. Replication is not set up between the two sites. We are wanting to set up the server in Site A in a "Managed Service Provider" fashion, hosting the domains for both Site A and Site B, migrate the clients pointing to Site B to Site A for their management server (though still in their own domain), then retire the server for Site B. Obviously, I can import the Site B domain into the server for Site A, and the domain will show up. The next step(s) are what have me puzzled.
I had thought I would be able to set up site replication to get the database content over from Site B to Site A - the admin manual _implies_ this would work:
"You can also reconfigure a management server to replicate the data with a currently
existing site in your network. Or, if you have two non-replicating sites, you can
convert one of the sites into a site that replicates with the second site."
Apparently this is "poor wording", since in practice it will overwrite the existing database of the server you reconfigure and there is no way to "merge" the records in order to keep / preserve current client data and have replication to the other site.
But if I just have domain B imported on site A and set up Server A in the Management List for site B, will the clients even be able to check in to Server A properly? If so, wouldn't the client data be "out of sync" between the two servers?
I have a server that just suddenly as of last week stopped taking updates from the SEP server...how can I troubleshoot to see why?
Are there any logs I can review?
I am attempting to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 7 Ultimate. Upgrade isn't working because remnants of SEP are blocking the install. I removed SEP 12* using the Control Panel's add/remove process. I then ran cleanwipe tool several times. No success. I then performed the manual RegEdit process (brutal!). Windows 10 install continues to show two instances (there were three initially) of Symantec Endpoint Protection and won't complete the upgrade. None of the program elements are showing in the programs/files listing. What can I do to get rid of those remaining program files? Thanks.

My company used Symantec Endpoint 12.1.5337.5000 and have applied Application and device Control
If I applied rules "Application and Device Control" then save / open file to Floppy Disk very long time ( around 15 - 30 min )
Otherwise, Save /Open very fast ( < 01 min )
Please help me show to me which the root cause , I can not applied this rules because it's became higher risk when user plug their USB drive to computer.

When running a scan (2) risks are found. They do not display in the file box and do not display in Quarantine and do not display in the risk log. The Scan log does display (2) infected files. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have a SEPM 12.1.5 environment and since a couple months ago, the Download Protection Definitions are not updating, but the Virus Definitions yes. If the clients connect to the Replication Site, the Download Protection Definitions update without problems. The question is why, when clients connect to the main manager doesn't update?

We are upgrading all of our Windows 7 machines to Windows 10 since 7 will not be supported soon by Microsoft. When will I be able to upgrade my SEPM server from Windows 7 to Windows 10? I am running 12.1.6 MP2. It is one of the few remaining machines we have on Windows 7.

Liveupdate is running and has current definitions(see below). I can see the agents in the SEPM and its showing online (green) but Autoprotect is malfunctioning. I have tried ./sav autoprotect -e and ran the enable auto-potect from the SEPM with no change. Anybody has any pointers or do I need to reinstall the agents again?

We have Symantec 12.1.6 installed in our environment . Replication is scheduled betweem SEPM manager servers. Replication
fails for one of the server . Below is the log available.

Hi all,
I had a problem with SEPM sending file reputation lookup alerts. There were two servers that had issues with the network/firewall settings, both have been resolved now.
The problem is SEPM is still continually reporting these old errors. I made changes June 2 and there's been no reports after that but SEPM still reports errors from before June 2, and I can't figure out how to clear the logs so it stops doing this.
Anyone have any tips?
