I have Symantec Endpoint Protection installed on Windows 2012R2 servers and Windows 7 workstations and they all sit on an isolated network with no internet access. In one group the clients are configured to receive their updates from a group update provider (2012R2 server) which is in the same SEP group and which gets it's updates from the SEPM server. The SEPM server used to get it's updates from an internal liveupdate server and all clients updated successfully from the GUP.
Recently we have changed the process and can no longer get the updates from the internal liveupdate server so the SEPM now gets updated via a JDB file (xxxxxxxcore15sds.jdb file) and whilst the SEPM and GUP update successfully, the clients now keep failing. They get an error in the client log stating:
"New content update failed to download from group update proivider. Remote file path: http://<ip_address>(<serverName>):2967/content/{GUID}/171203019/xdelta171203019_2_171210019.dax"
If anyone has any suggestions I would be most grateful,
Thanks
Chris
