I need a solution
Hi
I am trying to get SEP 14 to work on our XenApp 7.8 environment based on Windows 2008 R2. The servers are booting up on Provisioning Service so the vDisk are non persistent.
In SEPM I have imported the Active Directory OU where the servers are located. Then I am sure the servers gets the required exceptions and policies. This works fine in Sep 12
Now when I test SEP 14 the servers are always located in Default Group.
This is what I do:
- Create the client install package based on the SEPM deployment group, where Tamper Protection are disabled.
- Install SEP on the Citrix reference server
- Ses IsNPVDIClient = 1 (https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.HOWTO81...)
- Sets LaunchSMCGui = 0 (https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH910...)
- Sets SepMasterService to manuel (https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH123...)
- Copies sephwid.bat to the server and creates a Task Scheduler to run that bat file at system startup (https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH123...)
- Runs Vietool.exe (https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH173...)
- Convert the reference server to a vDisk and set the disk in standard mode.
When the Citrix vm starts up, sephwid.bat are running and cleans the sephwid.xml and communicator.dat files. Starts up the service
The I can find the server in Default group
Should be located here:
Any sugestions ?
Thanks
Torsten
