Hello, we have a new / fresh installation of SEP Manager version 14 Mp2 on Windows Server 2012 R2 OS platform. We were able to install SEP Manager successsfully & even the clients reported their status etc . We have been noticing a wierd issue that the "Symantec Embedded Database" Windows service keeps crashing automatically every night. I have to go in and manually start the service to be able to login to SEP Manager console. After working with technical support, we have tried reinstalling Symantec EP Database from scratch using the local administrator account but even after the reinstall the DB service keeps crashing. Upon further troubleshooting and running the Sym Diag tool , we noticed the below errors in the log file. The solution was then to disable UAC. Is this normal and recommeded by Symantec to disable UAC ? As we know that UAC is enabled by default for security reasons & keep it disabled isnt recommended especially in high security environments. Any body else in same boat as me ?
