Customer installed McAfee proxy which breaks LiveUpdate downloads. Despite LiveUpdate configuration LiveUpdate keeps using HTTP first before trying FTP. Finally customer set http proxy address in SEPM 14 to fake address 1.1.1.1 to help SEPM give up using http and switch to FTP. I think he should use 127.0.0.1 loopback address to get faster reject instead waiting for timeout on fake 1.1.1.1 ip.
How to configure LiveUpdate to be FTP only in better way? - I need this for SEPM 14 MP2 and Symantec plugin for Exchange (latest SMSMSE 7.5.6) as both of them have the same issue.
