I'm trying to fix our Symantec server to be able to push out client upgrades remotely. I've scoured the forums a bit and successfully got one of my guineapig servers to have its target version change to the version I want it to be upgraded to (14.0.1904.0000) but I can't get it to take.
I've used this article https://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/sep-clients-not-upgrading-after-accepting-upgrade-package to change the update schedule for this one server group which contains my guineapig to 0 days.
If I lookup the server on the Monitor tab I see that its deployment status is The client is ready to accept the upgrade package
Looking at the server's properties in the Monitor tab I can see that the Deployment Status is the same as above, but its Deployment message is Client has accepted upgrde package, version 14.0.1904.0000.
I've tried on the Clients tab; pushing out the Install a client for that server/group remotely. I've tried with/without virus defintions, but every time I get a Failed status.
I've tried rebooting the server that I'm trying to push to, but still no luck.
I feel like I'm missing a step, but I can't find anymore pertinent information for my issue through my Google-fu. Any help would be appreciated so I can get this Symantec server back to 100% and its clients.
If you need me to include anymore information please let me know.
Thanks
