I have an issue which has happened a couple of times and I'm hoping someone can help me track down the cause.
I have a LiveUpdate Administrator server which we use to download updates and provide them to the various SEP Management servers in my environment. Over the past couple of weeks this LUA server seems to 'hang' periodically and I cannot determine what is going on. I have the LUA server configured to download updates every 4 hours and distribute those updates after the download completes. This wokrs well for a while but inexplicably I'll hit a period where the server just stops doing anything. If I am able to log into the LUA console (can't always log in) it usually indicates there is nothing configured (no SEP products, no download or distribution schedule, nada) but if I click on 'configure' to re-add the information I get a 404 error from LUA saying the page cannot be found. Here is the activity log where the most recent hiccup occurred:
You can see five days pass between job 5760 and 5761. During that period I manually downloaded .jdb files to keep my SEP managers updated but would like to track down what exactly is going on here and how I can possibly resolve it. Any ideas on where to begin?
