My organization's client list has been imported to the SEPM from AD. I'll use the following directory structure as an example to explain my issue:
Three rivers school-->Machines-->Desktops-->Lab Machines
Here is where my issue begins. If I create a 12.1.6 Install Package from the clients tab for the Desktop ou, the clients successfully download and install the update. However, if I put the same install package on the Lab Machines ou it does nothing. I've tried using the "Apply current deployment setting" function to copy the same package to the child directory. I've also tried create a seperate package explicitly for the child directory. I've experimented with various package settings and other directories with similar structure.
The theme remains the same with everything i've tried so far. The install package will work on one directory but not it's child. Any ideas why this is happening?
