Unmanaged Detector not releasing old IP/MAC addresses

I need a solution

I am getting notices on the same IP address with different MAC addresses that the computers do not have SEP installed.  I research and it appears that the IP address and MAC address was on a machine that was briefly on our network and then removed.  The same IP address is then given to another machine and it to did not have protection.  So now I get noticed that one IP address has multiple MAC addresses assigned to it.

How do I remove this old MAC address, without excluding it, from repeated notices that it does not have SEP?  I do not want to exlude it because it may come back online and I need to be able to install SEP if needed or determine if it can be "officially" excluded.

I have called support and they cannot figure out how to remove the information from being continually sent.

I do not want to move to another unmanaged detector as I have many many MAC addresses exceptions that I do not want to retype.

Does anyone know of a way to clear the "cache" of the unmanaged detector so that it starts fresh while keeping the MAC exceptions?

Thanks,

Kevin
