Using Host Integrity to Install SEP

I need a solution

Just playing around with Host Intrgrity Policies and looking at the "Antivirus Requirement" part. I'm possibly looking to use the "Install antivirus if it has not been installed on the client" but after some more information if anyone has any about how this discovers machines on the network and then how it would go about decifering what type of machine it is (e.g. server, desktop, laptop) and would go about installing the package to put it in the correct group.

Or would it be the case that the URL would be just a standard package that drops them into the default group and then they have to be manually sorted once they check into the SEPM itself?

Any further information provided on this would be greatful.
