Confirmation about policy update time in Pull Mode

Hello all , I want to confirm that when we have communication set to pull mode with heartbeat interval of 30 minutes . Now when we add/edit or delete any policy on SEPM will the SEPM push this new policy update to endpoints immediately or it clients will update their policy once they check in with the SEPM after 30 min's ?

Same question is when we issue a command from SEPM like update content or restart computer will it be pushed immediately to the endpoints or they will take it only after the heartbeat interval i.e 30 minute's
