I do not need a solution (just sharing information)

Hi dear firends ,

First of all i want to explain our SEP Manager infrastracture on customer site before ask my question.

We are using Remote SQL DB server for Main Site and there are 2 SEP Manager server which they work Failover-Loadbalance with each other on this site.

Our OSs are Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 2008 server. Implementation is old and they are using SEP Manager for so many years. And now they want to migrate SEP Manager platforms to Windows 2012 R2 servers.

Infact i know the way of migration steps but i want to ask that way on my mind. Maybe this way is proper but i want to get your approve for that way.

I am planing to add new servers (Windows 2012 R2 - SEPM) to main site as Failover-Loadbalance server and after that i will shut the old OS servers and i will de-register them from Main Site which is implemented with first installation of SEP Manager server.

Is this way is proper or should i choose SQL DB restore backup on new 2012 servers with old server's IPs and Hostnames ?

Or do you advice any other proper way ?
