I need a solution
I have seen that there have been discussions previously around the issue of opening the SEP client as a non-Admin and the UAC prompt, but it seems that the "solutions" are not solutions.
The note https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH169884.html shows that this is not possible unless you disable UAC. So it is "working as designed". This seems crazy.
So if I have a user that I want them to go to the console to check the status of signatures or anything, they will not be able to do it. I know that with competitor products, this is not an issue.
Has anyone else been able to work around this so that users can take a look at the information provided in the client console?
