Sql Server and AV file scanning (mdf\ldf).....

1. Does this still apply to Sql Server 2012? (The URL referred to "Centralized Exceptions" but I don't know what that is.)

If so, then there really is no need to scan sql mdf\ldf files as SEP does not understand their format.
