Multiple AD Domains, Separate SEPMs, One Db?

I need a solution

Hello,

I was trying to get my company to use one SEPM, one SQL Db, across two AD domains, for which I posted the following question:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/sep...

Unfortunately, that idea was shot down, for some good reasons, and we will have to go with 2 separate SEPMs in 2 separate AD domains (which do not trust each other).

I was wondering, if they can both talk to a common SQL Server, can we still use 1 SQL Db to handle both SEPMs?  I know that we won't be able to pull Domain A's reporting, etc... from Domain B's SEPM console but maybe we can still use SQL queries to gather information for reporting from one Db.

I have read this article:

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?pag...

But in that case, there must be one common SEPM server, or at least SEPM servers that can talk to each other.

If that was confusing, sorry, let me know and I will try to better explain the situation.

Thanks,

Mitesh
