can't backup embedded database

hi

i want to upgrade my sepm to sep 12.1.4. before do it, i'm trying to backup the database using Database Backup and Restore wizard as require by symantec . But i cannot. i see this error: " backup failed due to a database problem: [Sybase][JDBC Driver][SQL Anywhere] I/O error Fatal error: A disk read from file "C:\Program files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\db\sem5.db" failed with error code: (23) -- transaction rolled back "

how can i solve this problem. i need help
