SEP12 setup

I need to quickly setup a small SEP12 environment to protect some Windows 2012 servers.  My production environment is SEP11 and my Liveupdate v2.3 servers are currently downloading SEP11 content which is then picked up the SEP11 SEPMs.

So..

1. Can the Liveupdate servers be configured to download both SEP11 and SEP12 content into the same distribution centre, or do I need to create a separate DC for the SEP12 content?

2. I will build a single SEP12 SEPM - can the SQL database be installed on the same SQL server that also hosts the SEP11 database?  As long as they are installed as separate DBs I assume there won't be a problem.
