SEP Update Definition steps

Dear All

I don’t know steps of updates for SEPC.

Generally, clients connect to SEPM in heartbeat period time and declare his state, and then SEPM send an appropriate definition to clients.

I need to know these questions:

1. How SEPM generate   appropriate definition?
2. What is of detailed abut “Update process”?  In my case, a client tries to download full update every day. ( or every 2 days)
3. What happened if a client cannot download a definition for 2 or 3 times from SEPM? If cannot download, get full update?????
