Device Control Logfile Flooded

I need a solution

Hi everybody

I recently discovered that my SEP12 Device Control logs are getting flooded/spammed with the following messages:

"The device was allowed successfully."

Since I thought I might be not the only one with this annoying issue, the search was on. On these forums I only found one thread/discussion:

http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/device-control-logs

Unfortunately, in my application and device policies the option "Log detected devices" has never been enabled.

Does anybody have a solution to this or is it a known issue? If so - what's the solution?

 

I am currently running SEP12 RU1 MP1 (12.1.1101.401) on W7x64 (Clients) and W2k8R2 (Servers).
