I'm running SEP 2012 and it gives me a nice little summary that tells me X clients are up to date, X clients are not up to date, X clients are offline, etc. When I click on the report, it lists ALL of the clients, so I have to wade through the report and find the out of date clients. And it doesn't state that up front; I have to compare dates, then make a list, then click on the "clients" tab, find the clients, then run the "Update Content" command. This seems incredibly tedious.
Is there a better way to update out of date client definitions manually? I've spent some time looking at reports and monitors but it seems like there must be an easier way. Earlier editions of Symantec Anti-virus made this task much easier - am I just missing something?
Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
