Just some background on our system...We are running Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager version: 12.1.2
We have been having issues with our cluster environment ...we have servers losing connection between each other. We have opened up cases with Microsoft and they are pointing the finger at our AV. However we recently resolve a cluster issue due to a server account authentication issue...Symantec took a good bit of blame on that one, even though the client was fully uninstalled from all the servers. The client uninstall didn't seem to resolve the issue...but the windows account issue did! So I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what the AV would be doing to cause problems?
Now we are having a similar issue with our Exchange environment...once again two nodes are not communicating and Microsoft is again pointing the finger at Symantec blocking traffic. However....we DO NOT have the Firewall installed or running on any of our clients. I can't find anything related to this in my research....actually the only thing that comes up is issue with the firewall/firewall policy.
Has anyone else experienced any issues similar to this?
