replication folder size

Hi ,

we are using the stand alone SEPM server with no replication mode. But when we check the replicatin folder , it all most 10 GB size.. can we delete the folders inside the replication folder.?

And in another site , we have primary and secondary sevrer. thereis no replication between these two servers. , but in primary server replication folder size is almost 20 GB.  here also can we delete the folder inside the replication folder.

is there any impact on servers or clients or Liveupdate ?
