I am going to do an upgrade from SEP 11 toSEP 12.1 RU2 and wondered which additional URLs we have to allow through the proxy before we start the upgrade.
I checked this article http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH162286 and have few quesions:
1) Insight: URL that SEP clients send reputation requests to.
I suppose this should be allowed for all machines in the network in outgoing direction, correct?
2) Insight reports: Data sent back to the client from a reputation query.
This should be incomming traffic for all machines in the network to be allowed, correct?
3) License activation: URL that SEP uses to verify if the license being used is current and active.
Should this be allowed only for SEPMs for outgoing direction, or for all machines in the network?
4) Licensing: URL SEP uses to check the license status.
Should this be allowed only for SEPMs for outgoing direction, or for all machines in the network?
