GUP Server has crashed

Hi,

I have a GUP Windows 2003 Server which has recently crashed and cannot restart. I now need to move the GUP service to another server. I only have one configured GUP for this reigon so now clients will be forced to get their updates from the SEPM. This is obvoiusly the normal procedure but I need the clients in this reigon to receive updates via a local GUP due to a low bandwidth MPLS.

In this reigon there are plenty of servers to choose from, my concern is configuring a GUP during business hours. Should I be concerned? Are there best practices in configuring a new GUP in the event of a system crash?

I am running the latest version, SEPM 12.1.2
